Galveston Helicopter

Adventures

Are you looking for a way to experience Galveston that is one of a kind, memorable, or even romantic? Try it out from a height of one or more hundred feet! Galveston Helicopters provides a variety of island tours, each featuring breathtaking vistas that are unavailable through any other means.

Bear in mind that participation in this activity is contingent upon favorable weather conditions. In addition, there is a limit to the amount of weight that can be carried by the helicopter. Each individual participating in the tour must weigh less than 285 pounds for the helicopter to be able to support the combined weight of the entire group. Either that or the total weight of all passengers combined must be less than 600 pounds for the helicopter to take off.

Excellent Deal on a Beach Tour
The Great Value Beach Tour is the one that offers the best value for your money. This tour will take you over 7 miles of the island, providing you with views of Galveston’s beaches and the Pleasure Pier along the way. This tour only takes a few minutes, but it is very helpful for passengers who have never flown before. When you consider that it costs only $50 per person, it’s easy to see why people think it’s such a good deal.

Tour of the Sea Life
The Sea Life Tour is the “best-selling” of all the Galveston Helicopter Tours because it offers the most comprehensive experience that bridges the gaps between the other tours. During this tour, you will take off from the Galveston beachfront and fly along the seawall all the way to the East side of the island, where you will explore the beaches there. In addition, you will be taken on a scenic route through the harbor and shipping channel, where you will frequently have the opportunity to see different kinds of marine life! You might catch a glimpse of some dolphins, turtles, or rays while you’re out on the water. This tour has a per-person cost of one hundred dollars.

All the Way Around the Island The Tour Around the Island will take you through more than 30 kilometers of beautiful scenery. The duration of this flight is approximately 15 minutes as well. From the air, you’ll have a great view of the city’s most famous landmarks, such as the Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn, Paradise Pier, the Cruise Ship Port, and many more! This tour has a per-person cost of $150.

Sunset Tour
Since the sunset tour is only run once a day, you should make your reservation as soon as possible if you are set on attending on a particular day. An unforgettable surprise for a birthday or anniversary, this tour experience is highly recommended. It’s also a very exciting and romantic way to pop the question to that one special person in your life! Additionally, this is the most extensive tour option, covering a distance of approximately 25 miles across the island. This tour has a cost of $175 for each individual participant.

Arriving at the Beginning of Your Tour
You will receive a confirmation email after purchasing tickets, and within that email will be directions stating that you should arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your tour. It is possible that the directions provided by the maps will take you a little bit further than the address listed for the meeting place. This is due to the fact that the helicopter pad is located nearby, despite the fact that the pad itself does not have a specific address. Because of this, we strongly advise setting out a little bit earlier than usual to allow for some wiggle room. When you get to the location where you are going to meet for the tour, you will see that there is plenty of parking by the gate.

Other Wonderful Excursions Available in Galveston
Let’s face it, the cost of participating in this activity is not negligible, and ascending to great heights is not for everyone. We suggest that you take one of the Duck Tours or one of the Trolleys if you are looking for a less expensive way to tour Galveston.
